A networking charger that is ready for world
travel.
Mastervolt is an industry leader in developing top quality
components for marine electrical systems. Exclusive to West Marine,
the ChargeMaster is an excellent example of Mastervolt’s ability to
engineer cutting edge technology that thrives in marine
applications. Like many other Mastervolt products, this charger can
be used in stand-alone applications or as part of a complete vessel
network.
Intuitive controls and easy to read displays
remove the challenge of setting up and getting the most out of this
charger. This 3 bank charger features a fully automatic system to
provide multiple stage charging to a variety of battery types
including: flooded lead-acid, AGM, gel and spiral batteries.
Voltage output settings can be modified to meet manufacturer charge
profile specifications. A special stage enables this charger to
revive a dead battery’. A built-in memory function will retain
settings to prevent overcharging batteries in situations with an
interrupted power source. These efficient chargers feature a
universal input to be compatible with shore power service worldwide
and will automatically adjust to deliver a consistent charge. Even
in poor quality power situations, the charging power does not
decrease. The ChargeMaster can provide DC power through an included
auxiliary power supply even if there are no batteries
connected.
Installation is made easier by a number of
features. Using high frequency switch mode technology, the
ChargeMaster is compact and lightweight while remaining extremely
efficient (Power factor corrected >98%). An ignition protected
rating allows installation almost anywhere aboard-including the
engine compartment. Variable speed fans sense and adjust to ambient
temperatures to offer a consistent charge in a wide range of
environments. Captive screws and keyhole slots allow installers to
hang’ and secure the charger making installation in space limited
locations easier.
Network connections are made simple by a single
cable. Built into the ChargeMaster is system functionality to share
information over a MasterBus network to allow complete control of
the charger from remote locations within the boat or from anywhere
using SMS technology. The single cable approach and MasterBus
platform add versatility and stability to a boat’s electrical
system.
Ideal for boaters with a moderately complex
electrical systems looking for a highly efficient and compact
battery charger that is easy to use. The ChargeMaster is an
excellent choice for world cruisers and boaters wanting a fully
automatic battery charger that is packed with features to quickly
charge batteries, extend battery life and simplify operation.
